COCA-COLA BANNED in ABU, the Ahmadu Bello university student representative council lead by Comr. Kabir Hashim have been going round all the university Shops/canteens/cafterias and restaurant to inspect and also confirm a suspicion that the bottle Coke imported to the school contain alot of dirt particles in it, the SRC general committee lead by Comr. Kabir Hashim have personally visited all the shops in both Congo and samaru campus to gather evidence. Today, Monday 13th August 2018, Coca-Cola company was summoned to the campus by the chief security officer, and he gave a further directives: 1. All Coca cola outlets within the campus should be shut down (including their depots) 2. Any product from the company should not be allowed inside the university 3. Securities should follow each and every Shop in the school to seize Coca-Cola products. 4. Students should not purchase or take any soft drink from Coca-Cola company (Pepsi, Coke, Limca, Sprite, fanta) pending when the investigation will be concluded. Note: the ban is only on Bottled drinks, but students can purchase rubber or can drinks. This decision is at the best Interest of the students and the university community in general, as it's our responsibility to protect lives and properties of all and sundry.
