EFCC has said that Senator GODSWILL AKPABIO is still under investigation despite his decamping from PDP to APC,he has been assailed with corruption allegations since he left office in 2015. He entered EFCC books for allegedly looting the sum of #108.1 billion from the coffers of Akwa Ibom during his tenure as a Governor. Also in September,2017 EFCC revealed that investigating him over #1.4 billion gift to the Bank. At the grand defection rally last WEDNESDAY, Senator Akpabio said the anti graft agency has cleared him of all corruption charges bus the EFCC has countered this claim.
