He however spoke about the claim by some governors of inability to pay the new proposed minimum wage where he stated that "Governors are not the one to determine what to pay and that the new minimum wage is for employers whether government or private employers. He also said inspite the delay cause by Sallah break, the commitee in concern with the review of the New minimum wage will conclude its work on 4th September.

NIGERIA LABOUR CONGRESS
The General secretary of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) in person of Mr Peter Ozo-Esan has assured Nigerian workers that the new minimum wage will be implemented before the end of this year. According to reliable sources the secretary stated this in an interview section with NAN yesterday.
